Unleashing Tipsy Cow's Brand Potential

Tipsy Cow

a trendy restaurant that caters to young adults and adults who enjoy hip modern breweries. With a fun and casual atmosphere and a chic BBQ house aesthetic, the restaurant aims to provide a unique dining experience centered around burgers and a wide selection of beverages. The challenge was to develop a graphic design system that effectively communicates the restaurant's trendy and playful vibes. Drawing inspiration from Letter Press I chose vibrant primary colors, simple shapes to create a modern yet complex layout.

Moodboard

For our aesthetic we chose a playful and bold visual identity inspired by letterpress prints. Each element chosen represents the fusion of trendy brewery vibes and the tactile nature of letterpress prints. We featured sleek designs, industrial textures, and vibrant energy reminiscent of the brewery atmosphere.

Logo Creation

The logo, featuring a full-body cow in a tipped-over position, captured the whimsical and playful nature of the restaurant's name. This distinctive icon mixes modern style with that rustic charm we're all about.

Typography

Cheap Pine™ is a tribute to the wood type. I drew inspiration from the craft of letterpress printing, this typeface coveys the rustic and handcrafted feel of Tipsy cow.

Objective Mk1™ as the body text brings a contemporary and modern touch. Its clean lines, geometric shapes, and sleek design complement the ruggedness of Cheap Pine™. Offering a contrast that represents modernity and sophistication.

Style

The color palette chosen for Mod Cow is a fusion of primary colors. Vibrant shades of red, blue, and yellow take center stage. Complementing these vivid hues are bold shapes that add a sense of dynamism and visual interest to the environment.

Pattern

The pattern crafted for Tipsy Cow's branding is a representation of the restaurant's culinary identity. The design was inspired by the essential elements that compose a burger – tomatoes, lettuce, bell peppers, onions, cheese, pickles, and ketchup

Keychain creation

As an on-the-go item, the cow shaped bottle opener embodies the quirky charm and utility that defines Tipsy Cow. The design incorporates the spot cow's have on their face, turning into a functional bottle opener. Its unique shape, offers patrons a piece of the restaurant experience to take home.
